Another atrocious loss during the Weber tenure. NIT is soon approaching. I do like the typo in the bodyline though, that we lost to an "Indian" team. We probably would have lost to them as well tonight.
This staff needs to be blown up. I don't care if Howard leaves at this point. The way this ship is sinking BAMM isn't going to land anyone in 2013 anyway.
At what point do we start writing off the 09 class? These guys are almost halfway through their careers and does anyone see them becoming first team all Big-10? Richardson is regressing, Paul is up and down, and Griffey and Bertrand can't even see the floor.
Richmond is the only one that looks to be a player in these 2 classes that the merrymen assured us would return the program to competing for the Big 10 title and a return to Final 4.
Now you're stuck pinning your hopes on next years class because 2012 is already a bust and who knows how far this hayseed will sink the program by the time the 2013 kids are ready to sign.

After the Penn State loss, I had given up and didn't even watch the Indiana game. To now know that we lost not only to IU without their 2 starters but that we ended up with the consolation prize of DMac after Eric Gordon decided to go with IU is just too much to take at this point...what is up with U of I? First we lose Chief Illiniwek, then our Board of Trustees is overwhelmed with scandal for letting in high schoolers from the North Shore-who don't meet academic standards-because they have political connections....now we are happy because we made it to essentially the Detroit Bowl game of the south for football and we are still losing games with loads of talent on the bench under Bruce Weber whose assistant, Matt Painter, is doing a better job....Please help me out here...what is the state of affairs in Illinois....has everyone gone mad? At this point, bring back Jimmy Collins and Lou Tepper! Where is the pride? Where is the bleeding orange and blue alumni? I am at a loss for words....will it ever end?
Just out of curiosity, who is the Hudson, OH guy that everyone refers to?
